TRAVEL ITINERARY

DAY 1. Arrival in Malaga from origin

At the expected time of arrival at the airport or train station in Malaga. Transfer to the hotel and Check in.

Free lunch.
In the afternoon, we will take a guided tour to get to know the city of Malaga, touring the historic center and visiting the Alcazaba.

The Alcazaba of Malaga is one of the historical monuments of the city that is located at the foot of the Gibralfaro Castle. It is a fortification built by the Muslims between the years 1057 and 1063. The union of the Roman, Arab and Renaissance cultures makes this corner a very special place for the people of Malaga.

This fortress palace has a large number of rooms, among which the Plaza de Armas stands out, where the artillery used to be located and which today is a beautiful Arab-style patio, as well as the Puerta de los Arcos.

We will visit the Roman Theater and the Picasso Museum. We will walk through the downtown area discovering the Plaza de la Merced and part of what was the Jewish quarter. A tour of what was once the area of ​​the Jewish quarter of Malaga. Visit of approximately 3.5 hours.

After the visit, free dinner and accommodation.

DAY 2. Mijas-Ojén

09:00 h. Hotel pickup to visit some of the most emblematic eastern white villages in the province of Malaga. We will visit Mijas Pueblo, the beautiful picture of endless white houses ascending the slopes of the Sierra de Mijas, contrasts with the intense green of the pines, offering us one of the most recognizable and picturesque images of Andalusia. A guided tour of the historic center, the bullring and the Almohad wall.

After the visit, we continue our journey to see another of the beautiful white villages, Ojén. Nestled like a watchtower over the Mediterranean, the municipality of Ojén serves as the entrance to the Sierra de Las Nieves from the Costa del Sol. From here you can see the water mirror of the Mare Nostrum and feel the cold mountain air in the autumn afternoons. . Ojén is an inspiration for the senses.

At the end, we return back making a stop in Coín for lunch and free time. By
late, return to the hotel. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 3. Frigiliana-Nerja

Frigiliana is one of the most beautiful towns in the world, according to Conde Nast Traveler in its 2016 edition. After breakfast, we will go on a guided tour of the town, on a tour of everything that made up the Moorish neighborhood of the town.
A complete visit of about 2 hours where we will have free time to explore more corners that the place offers us. After the visit, we move to Nerja.

The scenic beauty of Nerja ranges from the spectacular mountains, to the sea, with great beaches, through the fertility of its orchards, which make this area a true orchard.

Besides this, Nerja has unforgettable places such as the Cueva de Nerja, one of the most beautiful and visited in Spain, of great archaeological value; the Maro cliffs, declared a Natural Area; and, within the city, the Balcón de Europa or the Iglesia del Salvador.

Free lunch.
After lunch, we will visit the Caves of Nerja in a visit of approximately one hour.
At the end, return to the hotel, free dinner and accommodation.

DAY 4. Ronda

Ronda is located in a first-rate natural environment in reference to the so-called White Villages. After a good breakfast, we will move to the Serranía de Ronda. for a guided tour of its peculiar historic center, where its houses seem to be hanging on the spectacular cliff that overlooks the Tagus. We will visit the New Bridge with its incredible views, the Alameda will be a pleasant step to enjoy the viewpoints and we will end up visiting the Casa del Gigante and the Collegiate Church. A full visit of almost 3.5 hours.

After the visit, we will enjoy free time to have lunch and explore the city. At the end of lunch and back at the hotel, we cannot miss the importance of wine in the Serranía, we will enjoy a guided visit to one of the most emotional and curious wineries in the city, where we can also enjoy a wine tasting .

After the visit and tasting, we return to the hotel for free dinner and accommodation.

DAY 5. Malaga

Gastronomy plays a fundamental role in Malaga in an unequivocal way due to the passage of different civilizations and its enclave in the Mediterranean. One of them is the famous “espetada” where for generations, this peculiar way of cooking fish has transcended borders and schools.

In the morning, after breakfast, we will visit the Nereo Shipyards, the most famous for housing and restoring the oldest Phoenician ship in the world. This place hides traditional crafts, essence and above all a world-class Marine Heritage recognized by UNESCO. After the visit, we will take a guided walk through the charismatic neighborhood of El Palo, the fishing district par excellence, where we will enjoy a Espetos workshop on the beach itself.

At the end, free lunch (we recommend around the fishing district for its wide gastronomic offer).

In the afternoon, check-out and transfer to the train station / airport to return to origin.
