TRAVEL ITINERARY

DAY 1. Seville - Carmona

Upon arrival in Seville we will pick you up at the train station / airport for transfer to your hotel in Seville. After lunch, we will make the departure to Carmona, one of the most important cities for its architectural and historical legacy, considered one of the oldest foundational cities in Europe. Upon arrival, we will visit the beautiful white area of ​​what was once the Jewish quarter, the last stronghold after the expulsion in the fourteenth century in Seville. We will discover the city in a relaxed walk visiting the convent of Santa Ana where we can buy artisan products of the conventual sisters, we will visit the Priory of Santa María, considered the little sister of the Cathedral of Seville.

We continue to the Alcazar Puerta de Sevilla to enjoy the incredible views of the Sevillian countryside and learn about the founding history of the city and the different civilizations that have inhabited it.

We ended up moving to the Alcázar del Rey Don Pedro, to enjoy a coffee or soft drink before returning to Seville. The Parador de Carmona is located in this place and it is considered one of the best Paradores due to its privileged location and views towards the Sevillian horizon, being able to observe the province of Malaga and Cádiz on clear days.

We return to Seville in the afternoon. Free dinner and accommodation

DAY 2. Seville - Estepa - Osuna - Seville

In the morning, after breakfast, we visit Estepa and Osuna from Seville. Our first stop will be Estepa, a city known worldwide for its mantecados, we visit the imposing castle of the city, where the views towards the southern mountains of Seville and the region give us an idea of ​​the defensive work of the fortress. We continue the visit through the historic walled area until we reach the new city, where we can visit a butter factory and taste some of their products.

We continue the trip to Osuna, a stately city par excellence, in this city we can have lunch in a restaurant with traditional dishes from the Sevillian countryside. Strolling through its streets invites us to go back to the golden age of noble and stately life in the 16th and 17th centuries. Its facade architecture is in itself a work of art. We will visit the Collegiate Church with works by great artists such as Juan de Mesa. The most unique visit will be made in the Coto de las Canteras, a spectacular stone mass where musical events by great artists such as José Mercé, Raphael, Miguel Poveda are held inside it … this mass is located in what since Turdetan times served as quarry for the particular marine stone.

DAY 3. Seville - Marchena -Alcalá de Guadaira - Seville

The so-called “unknown beauty”, Marchena is a group of great beauty that contains a world of artists, monuments, streets and manor houses, folklore or gastronomy. After breakfast, we head towards the city of Marchena to enjoy its exquisite architecture and historical legacy. We will visit the Seville gate of the walled enclosure flanked by two slender square masonry towers and the Morón gate. We continue to visit the historic center and the chapel of Santa Vera Cruz.

After visiting Marchena, we continue to Alcalá de Guadaira, known as Alcalá de los Panaderos, since for centuries they supplied this food to the city of Seville. The traditional San Miguel neighborhood, home to flamenco and gastronomy par excellence, is located at the foot of the castle. Here we can taste some of their traditional dishes in a cave restaurant. We will visit the castle, an Almohad work that from the top you can see the entire city. You can not miss the visit to the water mills, a Historical Heritage located in a Natural area of ​​great value and that by themselves the mills are of an architectural beauty.

At the end of the visit, return to Seville, free dinner and accommodation.

DAY 4. Seville

Antes de despedirnos de Sevilla, realizaremos por la mañana una visita guiada como colofón a nuestro viaje. Visitaremos la Catedral y el Alcázar, paseando tambien por las callejuelas del barrio de Santa Cruz. Al finalizar, realizmos el check-out y os trasladamos hacia la estación de tren/aeropuerto.
