NAP IN THE WINERY
The Spanish siesta or nap is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Although it is deep-rooted in Andalusia, the siesta is recommended for its many health benefits in every respect. Its origin goes back to the Roman age in what was called “hora sexta“, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. In order to face the rest of the day with renewed strength, vitality and humor, it was common to rest after the midday meal.
This experience first starts with a brief visit to the vineyard. Then, to the winery, where the temperature is around 24 degrees. Once inside, visitors will be able to rest in comfortable hammocks among wineskin bottles; to feel the coolness in the winery; to drift with the surrounding sounds and to enjoy the bouquet from the winery while tasting a rich cocktail made with wine of Jerez.
