TRAVEL ITINERARY

In the morning, early in the morning, we will visit the Doñana National Park on a 4 × 4 tour. We will discover the different ecosystems that the National Park has such as dunes, marshes, vera and junipers. A tour of about 4 hours. At the end, we will have lunch at a restaurant in the village of El Rocío, in what is a brotherhood house, where pilgrims coexist, enjoying the rich gastronomy of Huelva, dishes with the marine essence but with touches of the interior.

After lunch, we will take a guided visit to the village of El Rocío, where we will get to know the different spaces of the hermitage and the famous image that presides over it. The tour continues through the main streets and squares of the village until you reach the viewpoint of the Marisma. In this area, at the end, we can take the opportunity to have coffee with the incredible views towards Doñana.

Free dinner and accommodation

In the morning, we will take a guided visit to the beautiful Acebrón Palace and Centro del Acebuche, located in the National Park.

The Acebrón Palace was built in the second half of the 20th century.
The Doñana y el Hombre exhibition offers the visitor the opportunity to learn about various aspects and peculiarities of the locals’ relationship with their natural environment. They are shown from how their huts or houses were, built from plant elements of the environment, to the hierarchical organization of the family; It delves into the hard life in the marshes and the traditional trades that were developed in it such as hunting, fishing and livestock. All this in an exquisite architecture that collides with the place where it is built, but which has managed to create a fusion over the years.

On the other hand, in the Centro del Acebuche we will contemplate live the daily life of the Iberian lynxes that are found in the Breeding Center in Cautividad del Acebuche. Once inside, you can enjoy an exhibition that deals with the importance of this wetland for the conservation of a large number of migratory birds.

At the end of the visit, return to the hotel. Free lunch.

In the afternoon, we move to Matalascañas with its unique beach. Known as the beach of “el plug”, for its immense rock on the shore as a plug. On this beach, we will take a horseback ride at sunset to be able to contemplate the incredible colors that the Huelva coast offers. A route of approximately one hour. At the end, we will have dinner at a restaurant on the beach to enjoy the rich seafood of Huelva.

Return to the hotel and accommodation.

At the stipulated time, transfer to Seville AVE station or airport
